Raida Alsarei

Raida has experience in both a private and public school settings. Before joining Hamzah Academy, Raida’s teaching career began at Atlanta’s Dar-un-Noor school. She then moved on to the Georgia public school system and worked for four years followed by working at ILM Academy as a Pre K Quran and Arabic Teacher. For over a decade, Raida has also been involved in teaching Quran, Arabic and Islamic Studies as a private lesson program within the Atlanta community.

Raida holds a bachelor’s degree in Arabic and Islamic Studies from Jordan University in Amman, Jordan. She is also CPR and First Aid certified.

Her contribution and involvement in serving the Muslim community has encompassed much of her life.
