Shabana Ahmed

Shabana brings eight years of teaching experience to Hamzah Academy.  Her teaching career began at Atlanta’s Dar-un-Noor school. After five years at Dar-un-Noor, she moved on to become a Kindergarten teacher at Hadeeqat-Al-Atfaal and worked there for a year before joining ILM Academy, where she taught Kindergarten for another two years.

 

Shabana is pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education and is First Aid and CPR certified.

 

Shabana believes that nurturing the emotional, intellectual, and creative needs of students is one of the most important responsibilities of a teacher. She has served Muslims students actively, and has been responsible for creating dynamic, engaging and productive environments in each Kindergarten classroom she has taught. She believes in sharing the light of knowledge, and spreading the power of love and devotion while instilling a strong Muslim identity in each of her students.
