Tahseen Afroz holds a Master’s on Management Information Systems from University of Maryland, College Park. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
She has five years of teaching experience in grade five to nine. Her teaching career started during her student years, coaching young children one on one, ranging from grade one to nine. Later she joined an International school, teaching Math and Science in grades one to four. During this time, she helped setup up a science lab for the elementary students and was an active volunteer in teaching underprivileged children in urban areas.
Her past experience includes working as an analyst at Standard Chartered bank and research consultant at a fortune five hundred company. She also authored a technical paper on Rosetta, which was submitted for registration at HCIL (Human Computer Interaction Lab) of University of Maryland. Tahseen’s goal is to combine her range of experience with her ability to be a compassionate and enthusiastic teacher and be able to educate and instill knowledge in young Muslim minds.
