I have a Bachelors in Business Administration and over four years of School administration experience from another private school, here in the Atlanta area. I started out my career as a Computer lab teacher and have never looked back since. I enjoy working with children of all ages and am humbled by the opportunity to work at HSA and help it flourish inshAllah.

After completing my Bachelors in Architecture, I won 3rd place in a Clay competition at a National level in India. Started my journey with Islamic studies at NurulQuran and tajweed course, later joined a private school as Assistant teacher for PreK3 and PreK4 along with managing the administration. I’ve volunteered at different summer schools as well. I Joined HSA a year ago as an Administrative Assistant. As an admin, it's a challenging job where creativity and management are required. I love my job as it serves both professional and Islamic needs.

Mrs. Souhad Gmail
I have been trained in Early Childhood Development and have been working in this field for 26 years, 6 which of have been teaching at HSA. I love working with toddlers, teaching them various basic skills as well as the alphabet in an Islamic environment is a rewarding experience for me.
Mrs. Hadil Salman
I have extensive experience in daycare and have been with Hamzah Science Academy since 2014. I have a degree from Alquds University in the Arabic language. I am trained for early childhood development and love my career and working in an Islamic environment.
Mrs. Shameem Shaik
I completed my masters in Business administration (M.B.A) specializing in Human Resource Management and have since learned Tajweed and Tafseer from NurulQuran, volunteered to teach Islamic studies in Sunday schools and worked as an Assistant teacher to PreK in Al Athar academy. I am certified with Teacher Equilibrium by Kelly Knoche. I joined HSA to work in a challenging environment that encourages learning and creativity by accomplishing both firm and personal goals of strengthening Islamic values among kids.
Mrs. Lina Thabet
All children need a loving and developmentally sound foundation for a lifetime of learning. I have taught at HSA for over ten years and graduated from Al-Qadisyyah College with a degree in Child Care Education. I hold several certifications such as The Child Development Associate National Credentialing Program, CDA Competency Standards, and CPR. Each child has their own unique gift and their own style of learning. So, I work to make my classroom a place that each child has an opportunity to thrive in their own way.
Mrs. Nafeesa Khatoon
Pre-K Teacher’s Assistant
I am excited to work with the bright and curious students of Pre-K. I completed my Bachelor's degree in humanities and arts in India, and have been in educational roles ever since. I have also completed a Quran tafseer, grammar, and search course through the Nur ul Quran Institute and continue my studies through the Ar Rahma Islamic Institute. I have a history teaching Islamic Studies for over 6 years at the Islamic Association of Greater Hartford in Connecticut, before moving to Georgia. Additionally, I volunteer at the Hamzah Sunday School program am happy to be part of the HSA team!
Ms. Nahida Abuadas
Quran and Arabic
I hold a bachelor’s degree in interpreting, and a community certificate in teaching. I have twenty four years’ experience in teaching at U.N. schools in Syria I also have training courses in reading Qur’an and Tajweed Alhamdulillah. I also teach Qur’an and Arabic as private classes and have been with HSA for six years. Teaching was always a great part of my life, and has become more exciting, when I started teaching HSA's lovely kids. Alhamdulillah.
Mrs. Rawan Fares
I believe that teachers help children build their confidence, curiosity and develop the skills needed for a happy and rewarding future. I have a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and arts. I am well acquainted with the STEAM methodologies, and am challenged to be professional, creative, and most of all patient.
Mrs. Sumya Tariq
Students should be actively involved in the education process. I am dedicated to ensure that each child grows academically and socially in a nurturing, warm and safe environment. I have a bachelor’s degree in communications disorders from Queens College and over ten years of experience in the education system in public and private schools from pre-K to elementary school age children.
Mrs. Hira Azeem
All children are unique and must have a stimulating educational environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. It is my desire to create this type of atmosphere where students can meet their full potential. I graduated in 2011 with my Bachelor’s in Biomedical Science Degree from National University Of Health Sciences, Illinois. In 2013, I continued my studies to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a focus in Mathematics and Science from Lake Head University, Canada. I have worked with students of many age groups and enjoy tapping into their interests and exploring their style of learning.

I hold a Child Development Associates, and went to Gwinnett Technical College for the Nursing Program. In my teenage years, I found myself passionate about teaching; soon I started following my dreams. After 15 year of experience, here I am, in love with my profession. My goal is to be able to foster our young Muslims in becoming great leaders of our community inshaAllah!

I hold a ‘Bachelors in Business Administration’, Certificate of ‘Child Nutrition and Cooking’ from Stanford University, Course of ‘Foundations of Teaching’ from Commonwealth Education Trust on Corsera and Courses of ‘English Composition’, ‘English Grammer and Style’ and ‘Positive Behavior Support for Young Children’ on EdX. I have two wonderful children. I am looking forward for a great school year!
