Head of School
Tahir Duzyol has received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physics Education. He is a certified teacher in Physics Education and Technology Education in the State of Georgia. He received his Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership with Technology concentration from Kennesaw State University.
During his teaching and school administrative years, he coached students and teams in various extra-curricular activities such as high school level FTC robotics competitions, elementary school level FLL competitions, state-wide Tech Fair competitions, and state-wide Webchallenge competitions organized by TAG-Ed collaborative. Through curricular and extra-curricular activities, students learned web design, programming and engineering concepts; they developed team work skills, critical-thinking skills and problem solving skills; they earned scholarship toward their college education as a reward of winning placement at competitions.
High School FTC Robotics Team Receives Motivate Award at International Robotics Competition
He coached the High School Robotics Team for 3 years while he is teaching at charter high school. In 2011, the high school robotics team received Motivate Award at the International FTC Robotics Competition in St. Louis. The robotics team was recognized by the local Education Board as well. At the time, this award was the first achievement ever received by a Georgia robotics team at the international level FTC Robotics competitions. This award is given to teams show the best team effort, spirit and collaboration.
Elementary School FLL Robotics Teams Receive Georgia State Championship Award -two years in a row-
After high school years, he helped elementary school level FLL robotics teams and their coaches as a robotics head coach when he was working as Assistant Principal at the charter elementary school. Robotics teams he helped and guided named as FLL Georgia State Champions -two years in a row- in 2014 and 2015 at FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Robotics Competitions.
Highest Performing Charter Elementary School -three years in a row-
During the years he served as Assistant Principal at the elementary charter school, he was in charge of Instruction, Curriculum, Assessment and After School Extra-Curricular Activities. The charter school has been named highest performing charter school in the state of Georgia based on CCRPI scores -three years in a row- in 2013, 2014, and 2015. It was an honor to serve and being part of a successful team.

Mrs. Souhad Gamil
I have been trained in Early Childhood Development and have been working in this field for 26 years, 7 which of have been teaching at HSA. I love working with toddlers, teaching them various basic skills as well as the alphabet in an Islamic environment is a rewarding experience for me.
Mrs. Lina Thabet
All children need a loving and developmentally sound foundation for a lifetime of learning. I have taught at HSA for over ten years and graduated from Al-Qadisyyah College with a degree in Child Care Education. I hold several certifications such as The Child Development Associate National Credentialing Program, CDA Competency Standards, and CPR. Each child has their own unique gift and their own style of learning. So, I work to make my classroom a place that each child has an opportunity to thrive in their own way.
Mrs. Hadil Salman
I have extensive experience in daycare and have been with Hamzah Science Academy since 2014. I have a degree from Alquds University in the Arabic language. I am trained for early childhood development and love my career and working in an Islamic environment.
Ms. Nahida Abuadas

I hold a bachelor’s degree in interpreting, and a community certificate in teaching. I have twenty four years’ experience in teaching at U.N. schools in Syria I also have training courses in reading Qur’an and Tajweed Alhamdulillah. I also teach Qur’an and Arabic as private classes and have been with HSA for six years. Teaching was always a great part of my life, and has become more exciting, when I started teaching HSA's lovely kids. Alhamdulillah.
Mrs. Sumya Tariq
Students should be actively involved in the education process. I am dedicated to ensure that each child grows academically and socially in a nurturing, warm and safe environment. I have a bachelor’s degree in communications disorders from Queens College and over ten years of experience in the education system in public and private schools from pre-K to elementary school age children.
Mrs. Miraj Khan
I hold a Child Development Associates, and went to Gwinnett Technical College for the Nursing Program. In my teenage years, I found myself passionate about teaching; soon I started following my dreams. After 15 year of experience, here I am, in love with my profession. My goal is to be able to foster our young Muslims in becoming great leaders of our community inshaAllah!
